Orden del Mérito Civil

In 2014, His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain awarded Dr. Dionisio Gutiérrez the Commendation of the Order of Civil Merit, an honor bestowed upon exemplary citizens who have rendered outstanding service to the State and whose careers serve as a model of perseverance in promoting the rule of law, democracy, and freedom.
